CRU is a research subunit of EMDC, an associated laboratory of CiiEM, integrated in ISCSEM.

It is a unit of clinical research, of a multidisciplinary nature in Dental Medicine, linking basic and applied research to technological development, guided to health promotion.

CDRU develops its activity in the scientific domains of Periodontology, Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry and Oral Rehabilitation, Oral Pathology, Dental Materials, Epidemiology, Odontogeriatric and related areas, and intends to act in the research, teaching and medical care developed by teachers, Collaborators and students of ISCSEM.

CDRU assumes itself as a structure of coordination and support for clinical research projects and pre- and post-graduate training.
